First of all, congratulations and a warm welcome to all of you for joining our Rashtriya Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Nagad, Kannad taluka, Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad).

It is true that Nagad, Kannad taluka, Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) is considered the last village in Marathwada region. Nagad is known for its remote hilly terrain, tribal population, and its struggle in terms of social and economic development, as well as modernization and urbanization, which have been relatively slower in the rural areas. The residents of Nagad have witnessed the educational needs and challenges, as well as the backwardness of the region, and in response to that, the late Suresh Patil initiated the establishment of the National Charitable Trust in Aurangabad in 2003, which led to the introduction of educational facilities from arts to commerce and science streams, offering education from primary to postgraduate levels in the field of cooperative and agricultural sectors, along with the development of individuals with progressive personalities in social, cooperative, and political sectors.

Firstly, it is not just in Aurangabad district, but the Rashtriya Arts, Commerce, and Science College operated by the Rashtriya Charitable Trust is recognized as a progressive and unique institution throughout Maharashtra. The college always strives to provide education and opportunities to students from rural, tribal, underprivileged, and marginalized backgrounds, focusing on their social, economic, educational, cultural, agricultural, employment, industrial, and skill development needs. The college is committed to establishing a conducive environment for higher education, promoting dialogue among students, parents, and society, as well as fostering independence, equality, and fraternity in all aspects.
